Venkatesh recently got engaged to Shruti Raghunathan, the picture of which was shared by the Madhya Pradesh cricketer on his Instagram account.
In this photo, Venkatesh is wearing a green kurta and Shruti is wearing a purple saree.
In the post he wrote, ‘Towards the next chapter of life. #engaged.’

Born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, 28-year-old Venkatesh has played two ODIs and 9 T20 matches for India. With aggressive left-handed batting and medium fast bowling, Venkatesh is counted among the best players in the shorter format.
He has scored 24 runs in ODI. He has taken 133 runs at an average of 33.25 and five wickets at an average of 15.00 while remaining unbeaten twice in seven innings of 9 T20Is. 35 not out and two wickets for 23 runs are Venkatesh’s best batting and bowling performances so far in T20Is.
Venkatesh plays for the Kolkata Knight Riders team in the Indian Premier League. He has so far scored 956 runs in 36 IPL matches at an average of 28.12 and a strike rate of 130.25, including one century and seven half-centuries, while also taking three wickets. In 12 first-class matches for Madhya Pradesh, he has scored 585 runs at an average of 32.50 and six half-centuries.
