However, Indians, especially several political leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi stood up to hail the spirit and enthusiasm to support the Men in Blue, acknowledging their ‘commendable performance’ throughout the tournament.

Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also took to his social media, praising Team India and said, “Win or lose – we love you either way.”
