Bigg Boss 17: Ankita Lokhande gets teary eyed recalling Sushant Singh Rajput’s funeral; says, “Mein ja hi nahi payi, mujhse nahi dekha jata”

Locked inside the Bigg Boss 17 house, Ankita Lokhande openly discusses her special bond with her late ex-boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput. Whether praising his hard work or addressing their breakup, she candidly shares her feelings about Sushant. The recent episode witnessed a conversation about Sushant Singh Rajput between Ankita Lokhande and Munawar Faruqui.
During a poolside moment with Ankita and Isha, Munawar attempts a shayari about heartbreak and love. However, Ankita intervenes, expressing that such poems touch a sensitive chord within her. Respectfully, Munawar halts the shayari, and Ankita shares that although his shayari is good, it brings up painful emotions for her. Ankita then sings “Kaun tujhe yun pyaar karega, jaise main karti hu,” from Dhoni, prompting Munawar to share a related memory from the film.
Ankita showers praise on Sushant, emphasizing his goodness. She struggles with referring to him in the past tense, stating, “Whenever I say he was a really good man, it feels strange. Even now, initially, Vicky and I used to talk… he was Sushant’s friend too, and he’s no longer in this world. It’s the worst feeling.”
The actress is seen getting emotional as she expresses her feelings on Sushant’s funeral. She says, “Mere liye ye pehli baar tha that I was losing somebody like that, kaffi shocking tha mere liye. I didn’t even attend his funeral. I was like I can’t see him like that. Main jaa he nahi paayi. Mujhe laga main nahi dekh sakti yeh… Vicky asked me to attend the funeral but I refused to go,” said Ankita. She is later seen missing her late father whom she lost recently.
